Conventional TPE and TPR do not have functional viscosity, but need to be adjusted through the compounding system to obtain the required adhesion. With the continuous deepening and expansion of the application of thermoplastic elastomers TPE and TPR, the adhesive properties of TPE and TPR (including self-adhesion and co-adhesion) can be gradually applied to different industries.

1. Self-adhesion of TPE material: refers to the strong adhesion on the surface of TPE material, similar to a surface coated with glue. This strongly self-adhesive TPE material can be used to stick daily items and prevent them from falling or tipping over. Similar TPE materials have been developed and patented by a foreign TPE manufacturer. In fact, in traditional TPE compounding systems, the surface viscosity of TPE materials can be improved by adding tackifiers compatible with the main compounding system.
