SEBS is the product of hydrogenation of SBS. SEBS has a saturated molecular structure, which leads to very different properties. It has the necessary aging resistance, yellowing resistance, and other traits required for producing transparent TPE, and also promotes excellent properties such as high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance. Thus, transparent TPE is manufactured.

Since any impurity in TPE material can affect the transparency of the product, care must be taken to seal and keep TPE raw materials clean during storage, transportation, and feeding. Especially if TPE raw materials contain moisture, heating can cause the material to deteriorate, so they must be dried. During injection molding, a drying hopper must be used for feeding.

Common processing methods include one-shot molding with a two-color injection molding machine, or two-shot injection molding with a standard injection machine using an overmolding mold. TPE overmolded products are usually handles, grips, etc. TPE soft rubber material has a special comfortable touch. The introduction of TPE material enhances the grip and tactile feel of products.
