Pet dog toys are made from soft and elastic TPR material, offering flexibility, durability, safety, and environmental friendliness. They satisfy dogs' chewing needs without causing harm. When squeezed, they produce a crisp sound, enhancing pets' interest in playing, helping pets grind their teeth, reducing issues like tartar, and maintaining oral freshness. They can be used for interaction between owners and dogs or as toys to alleviate loneliness and boredom for dogs.
Our company produces TPE and TPR materials that are environmentally friendly, non-toxic, and odorless, with a wide hardness range of 0-100A to choose from. They contain no halogens, plasticizers, heavy metals, etc., and the materials are certified by the U.S. FDA food-grade and German LFGB standards, making them the preferred raw materials to replace PVC and silicone. Our TPR elastomer materials are maturely applied in pet toy products, such as pet dog chew sticks, pet dog moisture-absorbing pads, and pet toys, etc.
Five Major Properties of TPR:
1. Excellent color matching performance.
Soft rubber toy products often come in bright and diverse colors, requiring high color matching performance from TPR materials. A qualified TPR grade should have good pigment dispersion and facilitate effective coloring, achieving bright colors and uniform color matching effects!
2. Good spray painting, painting, and screen printing performance
Most toy products require spray painting, painting, or screen printing. To achieve excellent spray painting and screen printing effects (paint does not peel off), the compatibility between TPR materials and inks/paints is crucial. Suitable paints and inks should be selected based on the characteristics of TPR.
3. Crack resistance of soft toys
For some very soft toys, appropriate TPR materials should be selected to prevent cracking after product processing. Additionally, optimizing and improving the molding process can reduce cracking caused by stress shrinkage!
4. Environmental performance
Although most TPR materials meet ROHS and EN71-3 testing standards for environmental characteristics, testing standards for toy products vary by country or region. Some require the absence of PAHs (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons), NP (nonylphenol), etc., while others require the absence of SVHC (Substances of Very High Concern) as specified by REACH. This requires fully considering such environmental requirements when compounding TPR materials!
5. Other requirements
Some toy products require high tensile and tear resistance, while others require good resilience, etc. In summary, the most suitable TPR materials should be provided based on specific customer requirements.
Regarding material hardness, TPR can provide materials with a hardness range of 0-100A to choose from.
Regarding TPR processing, injection molding and extrusion are currently the main methods, with special TPR materials suitable for blow molding.
